These are two privately owned apartments within the Marina Court Resort Condominium which is superbly located in the heart of Kota Kinabalu on the city’s waterfront (it is next door to the 4 star Promenade Hotel). It is ideal for a holiday or business trip as its sea views*, leisure facilities and proximity to the city's water front with its good range of bars, restaurants and coffee houses make it a perfect location for the visitor. There are also shopping malls and supermarkets within easy walking distance. The airport is a mere 15 minutes drive (depending on traffic) from the accommodation.For those wishing more amenities, space and privacy than a hotel room the rates for these 3-bedroom apartments are very reasonable.Each apartment’s balcony overlooks the swimming pool and has excellent views to the sea* and is perfectly placed for watching amazing sunsets*.As the apartments are privately owned they are well cared for and have been decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard (see below for details). We pride ourselves in being able to offer a much more personal service to our guests than some of the bigger operators. For your safety we equip the apartments with foam fire extinguishers and smoke detectors. * Pool and sea views are offered from the apartment at present (as shown in the photo’s). However, all Marina Court sea views are threatened by a future waterfront development to be built over the water in front of Marina Court. When this happens, sadly, all Marina Court apartments will lose their sea view and this website will be updated as appropriate (at present groundworks are in progress and 2 cranes have recently appeared). In any event, these two apartments will always enjoy an attractive pool view.

Extra Services
Where possible, an Airport Pick-Up can be offered for RM40 each way (for up to 4 persons depending on baggage size); for a small extra charge a personalized Guided Walking Tour of local area may be arranged (to locate recommended amenities such as restaurants, shops, banks, internet services, clinics, post office etc); House-keeping Service is not normally provided (there is a washing machine provided for guests' use) but for longer bookings cleaning and bed/towel changes may be available for an extra charge by prior arrangement where possible.
Kota Kinabalu and Sabah
Kota Kinabalu, or KK as it is known locally, is a vibrant city but small enough to be within walking distance of most things a visitor would need. There are many attractions in and around KK and the off-lying islands, with their fabulous beaches and snorkelling, are a mere 20-minute boat ride away from the town jetty. Beyond KK are some world-class attractions including Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia’s highest peak, the Island of Sipadan with its superb sub-aqua diving and the fascinating orang-utan sanctuary at Sepilok.Just short flights away are Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, Brunei, The Island of Labuan, Sandakan and various locations in Indonesia and the Philippines.Kota Kinabalu can be reached via direct flights from Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor Bahru on mainland Malaysia as well as Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Jakarta, Taipei and Manila. The budget airline Air Asia connects most of these locations.
